Interfaith Youth Cooperative Actions for Peace (IYCAP) Project of Nyein Foundation organized an interfaith dialogue at Hotel Queen Jamadevi, Mawlamyine Township, Mon State, on December 3, 2019. 45 interfaith youths in Mon State participated in the dialogue.
The dialogue began with the morning session centering on a brief account of dialogue concept by U Win Kyaw Htwe, area coordinator of IYCAP project in Mon State, followed by the afternoon session where religious leaders of Hinduism, Islam, Christianity, and Buddhism engaged in the dialogue under the topic of religion and loving-kindness and discussed with interfaith youths.
The dialogue aimed to provide interfaith youths with insights into the concept of dialogue, enable them to apply them, and cement the trust and understanding among them through the culture of dialogue.
